Heidi (she/her) is a dynamic and excitable creative professional who works to foster spaces of inevitable connection through enduring and thoughtful work. She has worked as a gallery director, graphic designer, and organizer. Currently, she manages the design department for a company in Asheville, North Carolina, and takes on freelance projects as time and interest allow.

AS AN EXPERIENCED DESIGNER with an obsessive eye for detail and color, she is equipped to take on an array of projects from branding or to print, to digital or art direction for clients who are eager to collaborate.

AS AN ORGANIZER and arts advocate she is director of School of the Alternative, a weeks-long radical art school/residency program that’s held each spring in the magical mountains of Black Mountain, North Carolina.

AS A GALLERIST & CURATOR she has worked in traditional gallery spaces, with the aim of championing the arts and artists as fiercely as she can.

Some other interests include being a helicopter plant parent, thoughtfully dressing her apartment, petting other people’s dogs, being in water, and working on new and radical ways to connect with people she loves who are separated by distance.
